**About the Opportunity**:
You will support the school by carrying out the following:
- Provide administrative support to key stakeholders by supporting their leadership and enabling the delivery of academic priorities and projects.
- Support academic operations by arranging, managing, and minuting meetings, organising events, and coordinating quality assurance processes.
- Maintain and improve administrative systems to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Raise purchase orders and monitor financial transactions.
- Use a wide range of IT packages for various tasks including including document creation, data management, recording and monitoring information, and preparing presentations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and inclusivity.
- Contribute to a smooth-running academic environment by ensuring the effective execution of administrative tasks.
**About You**:
We are seeking a highly organised and effective administrator who is capable of working on their own initiative, able to independently gather information, build connections and advance tasks with mínimal supervision. You will be:
- Experienced in the use of digital tools and Office 365 to support administrative tasks.
- Have strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Comfortable working and liaising with diverse teams and areas of service delivery.
- Experienced in managing and minuting meetings.
- Have a good understanding of Financial transactions in terms of raising POs and cross-checking information
- Experienced in planning, managing and monitoring a variety of commitments, and balancing conflicting workloads to meet service demands and deadlines.
- Comfortable with responding to unexpected demands and working under pressure in an effective and positive manner. ; excellent time management skills
- Experience of working in Higher Education would be highly advantageous.
