A busy, well established client in Avonmouth has an opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join their team for a 3-month fixed term contract. The role is Monday to Friday working 8:00am - 16:00pm with immediate start The salary on offer is £26,000- £30,000 pro rata.
The Finance Administrator role:

- Liaising with Suppliers to chase missing invoices and processing weekly supplier payments.
- Raising invoices as goods are shipped and reconciling individual job costings to the overall gross margin at the same time.
- Ensuring that the accounting side of the ERP system is always clean and up to date as this drives the live data dashboards and ultimately the management accounts.
- Approve/Assist in the set-up of New Supplier accounts on the system accounts payable and receivable ledger.
- Weekly reconciliation on suppliers' statements received to suppliers' account.
- Liaise with relevant team to ensure any overdue payments owed to suppliers are on the weekly payment run.
- Ensuring Direct Debits and Standing Orders have been deducted correctly and post to relevant ledger.

The ideal Finance Administrator:

- A proven track record in a similar role.
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Customer service skills
- Understanding of date privacy standards
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Microsoft Excel Skills
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
