Our Client is currently looking for a Stakeholder Relations Officer (Temporary) to join their busy team in London.
They are passionate about helping their customers and communities live sustainable lives now and in the long term. They are trusted experts in the design, build, and operation of Heat and Energy networks. Through the innovative new solutions they build,and through the continuous optimisation of the networks they operate, They are instrumental in the delivery of the UK’s Climate change agenda.
The Stakeholder Engagement Officer ensures that the company operates in partnership with residents and clients to deliver projects on time while securing a great customer and client experience. Through providing expert advice and managing effective stakeholderrelationships they will be a key point of contact for delivery and on-boarding projects, which range from retrofit to new build. The post holder will play a key role in effectively communicating with strategic stakeholders involved in the site and on boardingof a project.
**About the Stakeholder Relations Officer Role**:
The Stakeholder Engagement Officer will be expected to build strong working relationships with the stakeholders detailed above to ensure the smooth transition of Projects from hardware installation to servicing customers.
Recurring meetings should be held with relevant teams from the relevant stakeholders, including providing training on the company/ client processes. The role will require flexibility as some events may be held on site and others remotely, with some traveland overnight stays likely.
The SEO will be expected to manage relationships with key clients alongside Client Account Managers, and to keep internal teams abreast of developments on site, including any key milestones or delays which may impact operational delivery of services.
The role holder will be responsible for presenting to residents either on video calls or at face-to-face meetings.
**Stakeholder Relations Officer Duties**:
- Responsible for meeting with residents, and businesses developers, councils, clients, consultants and housing associations to ensure that the company is ready to provide services as soon as a build is complete, or an upgrade is agreed.
- Producing and delivering presentations to large groups; and agreeing and documenting bespoke processes for handovers and delivering them to operational teams including Projects, Consumer Accounts and Client Accounts.
- Arranging and hosting regular events with customers is a major part of the role, as is recording and reporting on all stakeholder activities.
- Assisting the successful consultation process under Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act,
- Securing a programme of access to residential premises to ensure completion of project works
- Presenting to stakeholders on the company/client service offerings
- Agreeing processes with stakeholders, documenting them and delivering them to the business to ensure smooth transition from project stage to service delivery
- Continuing to build and develop these relationships by way of regular meetings and contact
- Managing and leading resident events, either remotely via Zoom/Teams or locally on site
- Documenting and reporting on all activities relating to stakeholder engagement
- Working closely with Client Account Managers and other internal teams to ensure the business is ready to deliver contracted services and provide an excellent customer experience from day one
- Championing District Heating and the benefits at all times
- Promote health and safety through the defined governance structure, identify and mitigate any risks.
