Morgan Hunt is working with a regulatory body based in East London, looking for a temporary Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Officer to step in for 8 weeks. The role is offered on Hybrid basis with one day a week in the office and the day rate for this is 200 holiday (224 a day) PAYE.

Key responsibilities of the temporary Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Officer:

- Help to build a view of the stakeholder landscape in these directorates
- Help to shape engagement plans.
- Support policy teams to run effective external stakeholder engagement activities with tasks that could include
- Setting upcoming agendas
- Facilitating sessions
- Producing briefings and communications material in consultation with relevant teams
- Share insights from stakeholder engagement interactions with relevant teams.
- Analyse the effectiveness of external engagement to help inform current and future engagement strategies.
- Escalate emerging issues associated with stakeholder engagement.
- Build close relationships with central communications teams in order to have a joined-up approach

Key Stakeholder Relationships of the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Officer:
Internal
- Build relationships with:

- The other teams within the Policy Coordination and Prioritisation Portfolio, ie Business Operations & Planning and Strategic Change.
- Policy teams
- Teams within central communications and other embedded stakeholder engagement professionals.
- Communicate outputs and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior management.

External
- All stakeholders for ESMS/Networks directorates including Government departments, devolved administrations, regional authorities, regulated companies eg network companies and system operator, innovators, generators, shippers, trade bodies, consumer bodies and charities, investor community, etc.
