This not-for-profit organisation that champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences is looking for two talented, digitally savvy Media Relations Officers to achieve the ambitions and objectives of their national advocacy and communications strategy.   The two roles are for 3 and 6 months respectively and based in London, with some out of hours work and ad hoc travel.   You will use your experiences of developing and implementing compelling proactive and reactive media relations campaigns and will be used to working in a high pressured and busy press team.   Key responsibilities: You will have significant experience of working in a busy press office or media organisation, preferably within a policy based / corporate environment; agency experience is a bonus. Experience of planning and delivering effective proactive campaigns. You will have a good nose for a news story and be experienced in developing robust messaging and narratives, whilst monitoring the news agenda for opportunities to react. A highly developed understanding of national and regional media and experiences of dealing with difficult journalists and handling sensitive issues is required. Experiences of preparing and briefing stakeholders for interviews at all levels. Knowledge of specialist media distribution, monitoring, measurement and evaluation mechanisms. Excellent verbal and written communications skills to be able to contribute to a range of editorial opportunities such as press releases, comment pieces.
