**National Account Manager** **FMCG Food. Their passion along with a reputation for authenticity and quality has yielded outstanding success and growth across all channels. They are now looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their commercial team to take ownership and develop a portfolio of **key Wholesalers/Cash & Carry Customers** as well as developing our business within some key buying groups of Unitas, Sugro and Confex. Customer responsibility will include **Hancocks, Spar Wholesalers, Time Wholesale, Filshill, TRS, Abra, Hyperama and United Wholesale Grocers.** This is an exciting role requiring an experienced commercial manager, capable of developing business within the Wholesale channel. You will also be responsible for building relationships and driving the business agenda at key industry events such as Casual Dining Exhibition/IFE. **_This role comes with plenty of opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced SME_ _ with _ _an _ inclusive, friendly culture, free from the 'red tape’ of a large corporation. Where people are supported to achieve, and offered the opportunity to learn about all other areas of the business** - Experience in managing & growing Food business with the wholesale/cash and carry sector - Strong Commercial acumen and business awareness. - A proven track record delivering results ahead of expectations. - Experience and ability to sell, negotiate and make things happen. - Develop winning customer relationships to achieve budgeted growth targets set by the business in terms of gross sales value and profitability. - Ability to project manage, good understanding of retailer process & attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organisational skills, being able to work on multiple projects at the same time - An entrepreneurial enterprise mindset that adds value to the wider business beyond the Sales function - a true team player who gets on with most people. - A positive "can-do" attitude and a desire to be part of a successful team. - Ability to think big, act fast, find a solution, and thrive on it. - Ability to develop NPD opportunities to meet customer requirements.
