A company sitting within the FMCG food space is looking for a Junior Brand Manager.

This role would be ideal for a Marketing Executive/ Marketing Assistant with 360 experiences looking to take the next step within a more brand focused role. You will be a real 'foodie’ or have come from the food/FMCG industry.

This is a permanent hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office based in Northolt. The salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 + 10% Bonus and pension benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Development of annual brand plans across the portfolio.
- Build relationships with overseas brand owners.
- Responsibility to optimise brand performance while ensuring effectiveness of spend.
- Responsibility for tracking brand spend and supplier recharges.
- Working closely with the NPD Manager, identifying new product opportunities while inputting into an innovation pipeline.
- Support the development and delivery of NPD projects, including customer sell presentations through to the commercialisation of launches.
- Supporting internal communication where required, with periodic company briefings and reporting on brand and competitor performance.
- Support the Marketing Team where possible with influencer kits / samples / presentations / trade show attendance

**Required Skills**:

- Professional qualification in Marketing.
- Good commercial understanding / previous experience of managing brand P&Ls.
- Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience using category insight.
- Experience creating and delivering strong and impactful brand presentations.
- Understanding of the route to market, including grocery customers, discounters, wholesalers and independents.
- Ability to manage complex and varied product portfolios.
- Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
- Good team player with an ability to gain trust and influence others across the business

The role has a good balance of supplier liaison, brand management, strategic thinking and commercial implementation.
