**Role Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the planning and coordination of all manufacturing maintenance shutdowns, ensuring they are completed safely and compliantly, with no disruption to schedule adherence or customer service. Planned shutdown activities will often include crossfunctional teams and external contractors
- Lead health and safety best practice within the maintenance team and to support the manufacturing area with regards to HSE compliance.
- Review the maintenance revenue budgets, including the identification of savings and the contribution to sourcing and inventory strategies for spare parts
- To be responsible for the cGMP compliance of engineering spare parts, including the updating of technical specifications
- Support the engineering supervisors with any team training initiatives, the training plan, including a periodic review of team flexibility and training needs
- Manage the compliance and accuracy of maintenance data stored on the computerised maintenance management systems
**Your experience**:
- A minimum of 5 years broad engineering experience in a highly regulated industry
- A proven track record in the coordination and management of planned engineering shutdowns. The ability to provide a strong technical contribution, with significant experience in maintenance
- To have demonstrable experience in promoting a strong HSE culture within an engineering and manufacturing environment, with responsibilities for delivering HSE compliance
- To have a broad understanding of Lean practices and improvement techniques, particularly those relevant to a production engineering role e.g., PPS, SMED, Standard work, 5S
**Your qualifications**:
- Minimum HNC or equivalent qualification in an Engineering discipline
