**Release Coordinator**

Pertemps Scotland Ltd are working with our client in Edinburgh to recruit for a Release Coordinator in the Public Sector on a temporary basis for 6 months with potential extension.

Day rate: £230 - £243 (Inside IR35) via umbrella
This role is hybrid working and flexible working.

You will work closely with the Release Manager in scheduling and implementing releases within the Programme, ensuring smooth transition of services provided to the organisation through the rigorous development and monitoring of release processes, plans, risks and dependencies.

**Main Duties**:

- Provide comprehensive support to the Release Management team, including facilitation and ensuring effective administration of meetings, checkpoints, workshops and other team related matters.
- Support the development, monitoring and management of all Release Management processes, particularly through the development and maintenance of artefacts such as Release Scoping Documents, Critical Paths, Readiness Assessments and Risk and Issue logs.
- Carry out secretariat duties for relevant governance boards, Release Management Group meetings including coordinate members, collaborate to prepare agendas, record decisions, issue papers, prepare minutes and manage actions.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure Release Management processes are effectively delivered as well as managing the central points of contact for enquiries and lead any administration support requests.
- Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to ensure programme deliverables, engagement activity, timelines and communications are coordinated.
- Communicate release/implementation details and schedules across the Programme and Agency. Prepare visual communication products using visio and power point and present at induction events.
- Support team members and manage workloads - creating a supportive environment that helps the team grow, mature, develop upskilling plans, and promote a culture of knowledge sharing.
**Essential**:

- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and to work flexibly.
- Experience of using project management tools and methodology in medium to large scale projects and/or programmes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to build good professional relationships internally and externally.
- The ability to assimilate information quickly and demonstrate attention to detail.
