Whisky Purchasing and Sales Specialist

**You will**
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers ( distilleries, IB, etc)
Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best commercial deals, payment terms, and rebates
Work with financial teams to ensure whisky products drive value for the business and meet our financial objectives by monitoring cost-of-goods.
Maintain an active network of collectors and trade contacts in the whisky market, utilising your network to drive sales for the company.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding the single cask investment, and coordinate product development projects, e.g. cask bottling, confirming scope, providing status updates, and monitoring milestones to meet project timelines.
Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Create whisky and whisky cask investments tutorials video, Scotland tour video, and upload to the social media Platforms.
**About you**
Experience within the whisky industry is a must Minimum 2 years of scotch whisky industry experience.
Expertise in the Scotch Whisky industry (single cask, limited edition release, special cask release, etc), including up-to-date market knowledge.
Experience in related fields is preferred (Video Production, Media Production, Cinematography, Media communications, etc. or marketing studies with practical experiences in the area), but not essential
You also need to be familiar with the Scotch whisky exportation procedure (like Scotch whisky export requirements, preparation of export documents, etc.), single cask investment, and limited edition release.
Experience in working in the whisky wholesale or retail industry is an advantage.
Excellent English written and oral communication skills. A second foreign language (Mandarin) is preferred, but not essential.
Fully remote working, but you must be based in Scotland.
