Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll & Pensions Assistant to join their team in London

**Duties include**:

- Ensure all uploads of pension contributions are made accurately and on time according to client specific deadlines
- Ensure compliance from a pensions perspective and highlight any gaps that could leave us at risk of being non-compliant for our clients
- Work on building robust and seamless processes as well as full documentation of procedures
- Work with payroll software provider to ensure accuracy of standard pension outputs
- Execute projects to cleanse existing pension related data we hold for clients to ensure accuracy on the payroll as well as working with clients and pension providers to enable a generic log in and agent access to pension portals for all clients
- Ensure clients are informed of their responsibilities as an employer regarding pensions
- Take on and manage administrative tasks of the payroll team, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time according to company and HMRC specific deadlines
- Sending Employer Payment Submissions, HMRC payments, specific bespoke reporting to clients

**You will have**:

- Administration experience is essential, payroll and/or pension experience an advantage.
- Pension and/or Payroll qualifications an advantage
- Understanding of auto enrolment deadlines and rules as well as the payroll cycle
- Excellent administrative skills with a keen attention to detail
- Experience and understanding of deadlines and their importance in a financial department
- Team player with enthusiasm to learn
- Computer literate with intermediate skills in Excel, VLOOKUPs, SUM, IF, Pivot tables
- Aptitude for numbers, data and comfortable handling large quantities of information
