We are seeking a highly organised, detail-driven, and motivated Flight Planning & Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic operations team. This vital role focuses primarily on the coordination, procurement, and management of global overflight and landing permits, while also supporting the daily operational flow of our operation team.

You will play a key role in enhancing and developing the permit systems and processes we have in place, ensuring they remain efficient, effective and compliant with regulatory requirements. Working as part of our operations team, you’ll also provide essential support to day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of global flight schedules.

This role follows a 12-hour shift day pattern.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **System Development**: Help progress, refine, and maintain the systems and workflows used to manage global permits—looking for ways to increase automation, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.
- **Operational Support**: Assist with the planning, coordination, and monitoring of global flight operations, working closely with colleagues across the operations team.
- **Communication**: Act as a key point of contact with civil aviation authorities, ground handlers, and internal departments to secure permits and support real-time operations.
- **Flight Monitoring**: Track aircraft movements, communicate with crews and partners, and help resolve operational issues as they arise.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all activities align with international aviation regulations, safety protocols, and internal standards.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively within the operations team to ensure high-quality service and flight continuity.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum of two years’ experience within the aviation operations.
- Proven experience in aviation operations, with a focus on permit acquisition and international coordination
- Strong understanding of global airspace regulations and permit requirements
- Proactive approach to process improvement and system development
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with aviation systems and planning tools
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, and holidays

**Schedule**:
