Senior Designer

**Senior Designer (Textiles)** Clarke & Clarke are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Designer (têxtiles) to join our Design team in Bolton for a 6 month Maternity cover contract. We are looking for a creative individual who has 4+ years experience within a similar role. You will be an individual who is driven, motivated and confident at working at pace in an office based position. **Responsibilities** - Keeping up to date with fashion, trends, design and production techniques - Undertaking research for ideas and inspiration - Experimenting with colour and texture - Producing design ideas, concept boards to present internally and externally - Liaising with customers/brands and interpreting their ideas and needs accurately - Liaising with commercial, marketing and technical staff as well as design colleagues - Liaising with oversea suppliers on product development - Producing designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software - Managing workload in line with a critical path - Involvement in packaging, photography and brochures alongside graphic designer - Working to budgets - Attending and exhibiting at trade shows - Managing accounts and special projects **Skills & Experience** - Artistic and creative individual able to predict new trends - An eye for colour, texture and pattern - Good attention to detail - Strong knowledge of the market and passionate about fabric/wallpaper design - Good communication skills - Adaptable to meeting the ever-changing demands of the business - Experience in developing fabrics - Good organisational ability and able to work to deadlines within a budget - Ability to work in close collaboration with colleagues and the design manager - Good CAD AVA Adobe skills - 4+ years’ experience in a similar role **About us** Sanderson Design Group is an international luxury interior furnishings company that designs, manufactures and markets wallpapers and fabrics together with a wide range of ancillary interior products.
