We are looking to recruit a System Store Coordinator within our machinery and engineering team based at our Blaydon site in Newcastle. This is an entry level position, where we will provide training and experience to develop someone's skills.

The role involves supporting the systems team in maintaining and distributing spare stock as required. Assisting in the pre-delivery inspection of new machines ahead of despatch, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and operating in line withHealth & Safety standards at all times.

**Responsibilities of a System Store Coordinator**:

- Provide ongoing support to customers with Antalis packaging machines achieved through maintenance and repair to ensure fitness for purpose, and the provision of technical information to customers and engineers
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on all new machines prior to despatch, maintaining a high level of quality and timeliness, in the provision of product to the customer
- Operate the forklifts to unload machines in line with the Health & Safety requirements of the role and specific machines, maintaining good housekeeping in all work areas and operating in line with company policies
- Maintain stocks of machine spares to adequate levels and despatch parts to customers, keeping inside sales (systems) and engineers up to date where necessary
- Use customer service skills to communicate and efficiently co-ordinate the transportation of machines and spares deliveries from suppliers and to customers
- Liaise with engineers regularly to ensure car stock levels are maintained and updated correctly
- Process spares orders including placing orders with suppliers, once received booking into stock and despatching to customer. Ensuring customer downtime is minimised

**Essential Skills**
- Ability to learn quickly and operate with a professional approach. Forklift training can be provided
- We are looking for someone with passion for machinery or engineering
- You need to be keen to learn and have strong listening skills
- An understanding or experience of customer service would be beneficial
