We are looking for an experienced Leader with a proven background working on people strategy, organisational development, engagement, wellbeing, diversity & inclusion and change areas to join DIO. This key role provides leadership and direction to ensure the effective delivery of evidenced based interventions which address DIO strategic people activities.

**Responsibilities**:
- This key role provides leadership and direction to ensure the effective delivery of evidenced based interventions which address DIO strategic people priorities, with a focus on culture, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, employee engagement and experience.
- Coaching, enabling and supporting managers, you will bring a new perspective to the People Strategy, championing a forward looking and inclusive environment, encouraging personal learning & development and promoting collaboration across the organisation. With a passion for people, diversity and inclusion you recognise that our people are the key to our success.
- You will be a strategic thinker who can prioritise and respond creatively and at pace in changing circumstances. You will be an excellent, emotionally intelligent line manager and leader, confident working in and leading others through ambiguity, as well as making evidence and data driven prioritisation decisions. Stakeholder management and influencing is critical in this role as you effectively engage and enthuse colleagues from across the organisation to support and enable our strategic people priorities.

- Accountabilities:
- Develop and embed a behavioural framework which underpins a great employee experience, and supports strategic and cultural organisational ambitions
- Identify priorities and interventions which improve the employee experience of all colleagues, based on our strategic intent and sound insights
- Lead the delivery of our inclusion and diversity strategy, collaborating with a broad range of colleagues towards ensuring inclusion and diversity is ‘mainstreamed’ across the organisation
- Lead our approach to wellbeing, ensuring it evolves to meet the dynamic needs of our colleagues, and supports a positive employee experience
- Ensure our employee engagement strategy continues to support strong employee involvement and voice in the development and delivery of our strategic ambitions
- Partner with our CoE (Talent Development, Resourcing and People Systems) to evolve existing programs to align with the culture strategy
- Embed our corporate induction to enhance the experience for new colleagues, ensuring they have everything they need to perform at their best.
- Support future talent retention through ensuring we have effective exit processes, including reporting and acting on leaver feedback
- Manage and lead the internal engagement survey strategy and resulting action planning
- The ability to work with discretion and effectively handle sensitive situations and information
