A leading Tech business is looking to hire a**fully remote Management Accountant** to join the team. The Management Accountant will also help to develop effective strategies for future growth. This is a new role within the company, so thereis a great deal of scope for improvement in processes and developing finance business models. The successful applicant will drive forward a new approach to project-based accounting and help to move the current accounting from Xero to Sage.

Some key duties include:

- Producing accurate revenue and cost forecasts, and helping manage cashflow
- Provide accurate consolidated quarterly management accounts.
- Partner with senior management with key strategic decisions
- Conduct VAT analysis and returns
- Pricing and margin analysis for IT projects
- Ensuring the financial accuracy of proposals and bids and to ensure business logic
- Regular and specific cost analysis reports, such as for cloud hosting and staff costs
- Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
- Participate in and support with all audit queries
- Support the successful preparation of consolidated accounts over three different business entities. Aiding and reviewing the statutory accounts preparations across the entities
- Assist in all areas of the day-to-day management of finance operations, deputise for the Finance Manager.

**Requirements**:

- CIMA / ACA / ACCA / ACMA (at least Part Qualified)
- Good working knowledge of Sage accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to effectively communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial
- Experience working in a technology company
- Experience designing advanced cost modelling
- Experience in an SME and a fast paced / high growth environment
