We have two exciting roles available in our ambitious and forward-thinking finance team

We’re looking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join us on a permanent basis plus one temporary role, with the potential for this to become permanent in the future.

As a senior finance business partner, you will promote a culture of collaborative working to improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business decisions and performance.

Acting as a key contact for both executive and service directors, you will have a key focus on supporting current and future business strategies and priorities. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring business performance meets strategic objectives through analysis and evaluation of operational and strategic decisions.

The two roles are:
**Senior Finance Business Partner - Reporting (6 months fixed term)**
As a Senior Finance Business Partner - Reporting, you will play a key role in the delivery of an effective management accounting service to Thirteen Housing Group.

Reporting directly to Thirteen’s Financial Accountant, you will be at the forefront of providing insightful financial information to senior staff across the Group, Committees and Board, supporting and influencing strategic decision.

You will also be developing and implementing improvements in service and making best use of technology and automation.

Working as part of a wider team of eleven, you will have the responsibility for managing a team of three, to deliver management accounts for various activities across the organisation.

**Senior Finance Business Partner - Investment & Asset (Permanent)**
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing a team of three to effectively maintain the organisation’s fixed asset register and act as a critical friend to our asset directorate.

You will leverage these dual responsibilities to provide insight to a data driven component replacement programme, influencing investment decisions and communicating the story behind reported performance.

Key objectives will also include streamlining the capitalisation of major repair costs and overseeing the fixed asset register processes that are performed by the team.

**The Person**:
The right person for this role will be someone able to deliver a customer focused service whilst continuously identifying and delivering service improvements.

You will have effective communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult or sensitive conversations and queries and be confident in challenging senior management and offering solutions.

You will have the ability to analyse, review and report on complex financial matters and excellent problem-solving skills.

You’ll also be a full member of a recognised accounting body.
