**Cover Supervisors - Havant**

**Pay Rate; £80 to £89 per day**

Chalk Education are working with a large secondary school in Havant, Hampshire who are looking for dedicated Cover Supervisors who are looking to further their classroom experience.

These Cover Supervisor roles can be on a flexible basis, as well as long term, depending on your requirements.

**Job Spec**:

- **Working with full classes in the absence of the class teacher**
- **Managing behaviour effectively**
- **Working with ages 11-16**
- **Be able to follow the school’s behaviour policy and guidelines**
- **Be flexible and adaptable to working across different departments**
- **Be confident to be able to lead classes and think on your feet**

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is perhaps looking to pursue a teaching career, or those of you who are keen to work towards working within Special Educational Needs.

**The Role Details**:

- **Full time or flexible - Monday to Friday - Term time only**
- **Temporary position**
- **Start date; Immediately**
- **£85 per day minimum**
- **Havant, Hampshire**
- **Mainstream Secondary School**

**To be considered for this role you will need**:

- At least 6 weeks experience of working with Children and Young People
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Good knowledge and understanding of a range of SEND
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A flexible approach and positive attitude

**Additional requirements**:

- References confirming suitability for role
- Commitment to Safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
