Warehouse supervisor

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Warehouse supervisor to join the maintenance team located in Havant. Warehouse Supervisor - Havant Responsibilities: To control Warehousing, Goods Inwards & Distribution in a safe and efficient manner To work collaboratively with Facilities team colleagues to provide an excellent support service to the Company, employees and visitors Monitor and control racking locations ensuring items are safely stowed Support picking / packing activities Carry out daily and weekly Forklift checks and maintain supporting records Maintain the cleanliness of the Warehouse and Goods Inwards area for safe operation at all times Operate Goods Inwards, log deliveries and advise recipient Responsible for providing an efficient service Working with colleagues to ensure all Facilities related responsibilities are covered in a timely manner Effectively respond to internal customer queries Forklift activities, picking stock, loading lorries etc Remove and dispose of unused items in the appropriate waste stream Process and separate all waste streams Management of Waste collections Work closely with HSE Manager and Facilities Manager to ensure all activities undertaken within legislative and Company guidelines Undertake inspection of workplace (warehouse) and reports any defects to the appropriate person(s) Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse, using forklift truck and lifting devices safely Passed a recognised Fork Lift Truck course in the previous 3 years (still valid) Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements for working in a warehouse environment Good communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work unsupervised Experience working with customers and suppliers (either internal or external) Collaborative approach to working Organised with attention to detail Professional in approach Flexible attitude with an ability to work under pressure Helpful to colleagues Competent in Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
