**The Job**
As the Learning & Development Facilitator, you will play a key role in delivering effective and high-quality learning programs to employees across multiple care locations. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training sessions that support compliance standards and foster a culture of ongoing professional development. This role is ideal for an experienced L&D professional who is motivated to enhance the skills and competencies of care staff, ultimately driving better outcomes in health and social care settings.
**Key Job Responsibilities**:
- **Facilitate Learning Sessions**: Deliver engaging and interactive in-person and virtual training sessions for staff at various levels, ensuring content is impactful and tailored to the audience.
- **Training Needs Analysis (TNA)**: Conduct TNA to identify learning and development needs within care homes and other care facilities, and design targeted learning programs to address these needs.
- **Learning Programme Design**: Develop structured learning initiatives using a range of delivery methods, including blended learning, to cater to diverse learning styles and enhance learning retention.
- **Compliance & Standards**: Ensure all training programmes help facilities meet regulatory compliance and industry standards, focusing on quality and best practices.
- **Performance Evaluation**: Measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Partner with the L&D team, operational managers, and senior leadership to ensure alignment of learning programmes with organisational goals and priorities.

**Travel Requirements**:
**Essential Criteria**:
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programmes, both in-person and virtually.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse learner groups.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring professionals at various levels.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Ability to assess the effectiveness of learning interventions using data-driven methods.
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Previous experience within the health and social care sector.
- Relevant Learning & Development qualifications such as CIPD or PTTLS.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in health and social care.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
