**Job Summary**
Optimus Flowers is a dynamic company specialising in the lmport of Flowers. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join our Logistics team and support our operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organising and booking freight via flights or trucks to ensure efficient transport of goods.
- Liaising with third-party logistics companies to coordinate shipments.
- Monitoring flight departures and ensuring timely delivery of perishable products.
- Tracking and recording flight temperatures to maintain quality standards.
- Reviewing and reconciling invoices to verify accuracy against orders and shipments.
- Ensuring the logistics process is streamlined for perishable goods, minimising delays.
- Preparing and issuing invoices for customers in a timely manner.
- Communicating with the sales team to provide updates on shipment movements.
- Adjusting the stock management system to align with flown and received products.
- Troubleshooting and resolving logístical issues that arise, including weekend coverage as needed.
- Any other duties that are looked after by the logistic team.

**Requirements**:

- Previous administration experience is desired, but full training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external partners.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Cover for weekend monitoring - remotly keeping an eye that there are no major issues out of office hours.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods (approximately three times per year).

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
