An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the Occupational Health Service. This is an exciting and challenging role, we are looking for a flexible, friendly, customer service focused and self-motivated administrator to join our busy multidisciplinary team.
Applicants should ideally have previous administration experience in an NHS setting and an excellent understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
The post holder will need to have good IT skills and be confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office packages including excel.
This post is an ideal opportunity for those looking for a promotion or to further extend their knowledge and experience in the area of Occupational Health.
The Occupational Health Service (OHS) is one of the largest NHS OHS departments in the UK and has a well established and proven track record of nationally recognised excellence, providing services to both internal and external clients since 1982. We offer a commercial service on a scale unique in the NHS which has allowed us to develop a broad range of occupational health knowledge, experience and understanding across a wide range of sectors. In total approximately 73,000 staff and students have access to our service. The service achieved full SEQOHS accreditation in June 2011 and was the first NHS organisation to do so.

Essential Criteria
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above
Previous Experience
- Experience of working as an administrator within a team
- A good understanding of Occupational Health Services in the context of the NHS
Skills/Knowledge/Ability
- Excellent organisational skills - able to deliver agreed objectives within an agreed timeframe
- Able to present in a clear logical manner
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to achieving corporate and departmental objectives of the organisation
- Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
