Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a Car Park Assistant plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service.

**Hours**:250 hours annualised across the year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

**Salary**:£2,875 per annum/ £11.50 per hour.

**Duration**:9 month Fixed Term Contract

**Potential start date**:ASAP

What it's like to work here:The Trust owns and looks after 10% of the total area of the Isle of Wight, including 17 miles of coastline, many areas of outstanding natural beauty and several unique historic attractions and features. We have 16 holiday cottages in our care on the Isle of Wight ranging from one to seven bedroom properties.

This role is based at Compton Car Park, Hanover Point, Military Road.

What you'll be doing:You’ll be working outside, meeting and greeting our visitors, providing help and guidance on where to park and may be required to sell parking tickets. You'll help to keep the car park and surrounding area in good order, and provide a courteous and informative service to our visitors.

You’ll also be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit. When interacting with our customers, you’ll inform them of the amazing work we are doing and what their money is funding, promoting local projects or promoting our cause.

As this is an outdoors role, you'll need to be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
