Car Valeter

We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join us as a Valeter at our Accident Repair Centre in Newport.

**ROLE TITLE**: Valeter

**REPORTING TO**: Bodyshop Manager

**MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE**:
To clean cars to a standard that reinforces the customers' feeling that they have received first-class service.

**MAIN TASKS**
- Wash, vacuum, clean and polish all cars using the approved materials and equipment to present the vehicles to the customer in accordance with company standards.
- Carry out overall presentation checks and cleanliness of the repaired vehicle.
- Keep the car park always tidy.
- Liaise with reception to ensure courtesy cars are cleaned and checked out ready for collection by the customer.

**TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE**

The level and scope of technical knowledge will be discussed and agreed upon with your manager or team leader.

**OTHER DUTIES**

Due to the size and complexity of the establishment, you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, as directed by a senior manager of the group with whom you have a reporting relationship

**OTHER**

A minimum of 3 years experience is preferred.

Hours are 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
