**Associate Surveyor Job in London**

**Associate Surveyor required for a commercial property and construction consultancy based in Central London, this is a great opportunity for a Chartered Associate Surveyor with commercial property asset management experience to join a growing team with an already established client base in London. Reporting into the Managing Director, they are happy to consider experienced Associate Surveyors or Director level, offering a salary of between £55k - £75k + Car Allowance £4.5k - £8k + 10% - 20% Bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.**

The commercial property specialists serve the Greater London region and North West, this role will be managing and growing their commercial client base in Greater London. They offer property management and building consultancy services to a wide remit of commercial clients. Joining a team of 12, you will be responsible for the setup, implementation and day-to-day management of all property and asset management activities for external and internal clients, ensuring that all key performance indicators, client targets and legislative requirements are met.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Reporting to the Managing Director; lead a small team of Surveyors and Support Staff
- Assist with preparing and delivering the agreed service, strategy, business plan and Quality Assurance document for the commercial business
- Leading and owning client relationships
- Drive business growth and profitability with set business targets
- Assist with and attend pitches when applicable
- Actively contribute to new business generation
- Identify additional business opportunities and present these in a timely and appropriate manner
- Identify cost-saving and performance-enhancing opportunities
- Lead from the front, support and identify change and innovation
- Contribute and support driving team and department business plans with forward-thinking ideas
- Continually driving change and progress in the business to evolve with Client and market demands
- Contribute and drive and identify departmental projects, generated from senior leadership team
- Property System management and data input review
- Manage the transition of client/properties in and out of company management -Take responsibility for compliance relating to sites under your control, taking action or escalating any issues relating to non-compliance
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all areas
- Creating, preparing and ensuring all Client reporting is accurate and delivered on time
- Lead client meetings
- Ensure all SLA’s and KPI’s for Clients are met
- Carry out property inspections
- Identify and action any asset management opportunities
- Service Charge Management

**Required Skills & Experience**
- 5+ Years’ experience within commercial surveying
- 2+ years’ experience specifically within commercial property asset management
- MRICS
- Experienced in managing a team
- Commercially acumen
- Willingness to carry out active business development with proven examples of success in this area
- Understanding of VAT, banking and credit control methods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
