Look no further We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor to join a thriving Accountancy Practice located in Stockport.

**Responsibilities**:
As Payroll Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing payroll operations and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client's payrolls.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing a team of one payroll administrator, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Overseeing and running the start-to-finish payroll process for over 80 clients, including weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and annual payrolls.
- Performing BACs journals, manual calculations, and handling year-end duties, guaranteeing accurate and compliant outcomes.
- Utilising the IRIS (Star) payroll system to efficiently manage payroll data, troubleshoot issues, and streamline processes.
- Collaborating with the Tax Manager to ensure seamless integration between payroll and tax functions, providing accurate information and timely reports.
- Staying up to date with payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and proactively identifying any changes or updates that may impact clients.
- Providing exceptional client service, addressing inquiries and resolving any payroll-related issues promptly and professionally.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll processing, preferably within a bureau or accountancy practice setting.
- Proven experience managing multiple payrolls simultaneously, demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll regulations and legislation, ensuring compliance and keeping up to date with any changes or updates.
- Excellent leaership and communication skills to effectively manage a team, collaborate with colleagues, and provide exceptional client service.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to perform manual calculations accurately and efficiently.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential payroll information.
