**Shipping Administrator**

**Salary - £13.79 per hour**

**Hours - Monday to Friday 7 am - 3 pm**

**Do you come from a supply chain background?**

If so, we have an exciting opportunity in Huddersfield for a Shipping Administrator to work for one of our clients who is best in their class for performance and reliability in their product.

This role is an onsite working position, and our client is offering an excellent salary of £13.79 per hour. In this role, you would be working between 7.00 am - 3 pm 37.5 hours per week.

Initially, this is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of an extension

**As the Shipping Administrator, your responsibilities would include**
- Enter data into the database system to maintain stock and training records
- Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures
- Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices
- Identify and control non-conforming material
- Receive incoming goods, accurately sort labels & packages, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space
- Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product
- Other duties as deemed reasonable

**Shipping Administrator Person Specification**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good IT skills (Excel, Oracle or similar) would be highly desirable
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Knowledge and foundation in MS SharePoint & databases preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
