**About the role**: We’re looking for a talented and passionate Health and Nutrition Officer to work with us in the Waitrose Health and Nutrition team to drive our health programmes through our products and publications. We’re committed to helping our customers and Partners make healthier choices for a happy, healthy life. This means making sure that healthier options are available, that positive nutrition is considered throughout the product development process and that there are plenty of healthy recipes and inspiration in our publications and online.
- ** Working pattern** -**The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The health and nutrition team aim for around 1-2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings.
- ** Location** -**This role is based at our Bracknell Head Office.

**Key responsibilities**
- Working with the Waitrose customer and product teams to ensure accuracy of all lifestyle and allergen claims for customer facing recipe materials
- Providing nutritional guidance in the recipe development process.
- Supporting with programmes to drive healthier diets and lifestyles for Partners
- Generating reports for internal use and to respond to customer service queries on the above.
- Supporting with health and nutrition policies & reporting, including data collection, analysis and recommendations
- Horizon scanning and research on issues related to nutrition, health and wellbeing

**Essential skills/experience you’ll need**
- A nutrition degree accredited with the Association for Nutrition or equivalent professional qualification
- Good IT and data management skills
- Good written and verbal communicator
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interest in and passion for health and nutrition
- Experience in supporting the delivery of successful strategic projects

**Desirable skills/experience you may have**
- Sustainability related qualification
- Relevant industry experience
