**Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Safety Department Lead to oversee all health and safety consultancy services for our client. You will lead a team, ensuring compliance and high standards across projects, and play a key role in business development, client relations, and strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the health and safety team, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Manage service delivery from project start to finish, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs.
- Drive business development, secure new and repeat clients, and prepare bids and fee proposals.
- Ensure best practices are adopted across the business.
- Contribute to business profitability by managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
- Represent the department in Senior Leadership and Board meetings.

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years’ experience in a construction-related organization.
- NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic expertise and experience in risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- BSc or equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
