**The Role**
- MST Parts Group are recruiting in Durham
MST Parts Group is considered the UK leader in the earthmoving spare parts market and is the trusted supplier to most of the major earthmoving machinery operators working in the UK. We operate four stock and service locations in Durham, Glasgow, Guildford and Birmingham. Following the USCO Group’s acquisition of MST, we’re now part of the USCO ITR Worldwide Team, considered the global leader in the manufacture of undercarriage, GET and repair parts.
We work at pace to respond to our customers’ needs for their earthmoving machinery. Supplying undercarriage, wear parts and rubber tracks, services and repairs in a timely and professional manner. First time. Every time.
**The Opportunity**
Tasks - Duties - Responsibilities
- Health and Safety Responsibilities:_
- Provide administrative services to the health and safety team in accordance with applicable organisation policies and practices, referring to Line Manager as appropriate.
- The general administration services to the team include filing, data entry, typing and assisting in the management of communications and paperwork, managing diaries, assisting with meeting organisation.
- Assist Manager to make improvements and implement required changes.
- Assist Manager to liaise with external agencies relation to health and safety matters
- reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis or as otherwise required
- ensure compliance to applicable codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety.
- Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work.
- Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Manager.
- Warehouse Responsibilities:_
- Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole.
- Contribute towards the efficient running of the team.
- Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures.
- Interact and co-operate with all members of the organisation, its suppliers and clients/customers in a friendly and personable manner.
- From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.
- You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally.
- Inform internal and external customers about any changes with orders.
- Maintain filing records daily and archive monthly.
- General administrative duties such as - filing, photocopying.
- Assist logistics team process customer orders.
- Assisting the department manager with administrative paperwork.
- Support the transport team with planning of holidays, training days etc.
- Administration of order picking and delivery.
- Liaise with courier in regards to timely delivery and next day delivery to ensure prompt arrival of products for customers.
- Liaise with sales team in regards to timely delivery and next day delivery, to ensure they are updated on the progress of customer orders.
- CPC Responsibilities:_
- The making of arrangements to ensure that drivers comply with drivers’ hours and tachograph rules and with speed limits.
- The making of arrangements to ensure that the vehicles are maintained properly, including the inspection of vehicles at the appropriate time and the action taken to remedy defects found
- The reporting and recording of vehicle defects by drivers

Previous warehouse experience (essential);
Previous administrative experience (essential);
Understanding of Microsoft Office packages (essential);

Good working knowledge of warehouse / transport procedures (desirable);
Experience with Sage 200 software (desirable);

**Hours**
Your usual hours will be from 8:30am to 5pm Monday - Thursday. 8:00am - 4:30 Friday. However you will be expected to take a
