The role holder will be accountable for sustaining world-class standards of technical SEO across MVF's portfolio and will be responsible for setting and maintaining best practice across the team.

**The Team**
The Brands team is responsible for growing the organic traffic of brands such as Expert Market, Expert Reviews, Startups, Tech.co, The Eco Experts and Website Builder Expert.
The department consists of:
- **Content team** - responsible for creating and delivering a high-quality content strategy that meets organic traffic and conversion targets, and delivers a trusted and unique brand experience.
- **Audience team** - responsible for delivering audience development strategies that grow the reach and visibility of MVF's brands. The team comprises SEO and Campaigns (link acquisition) teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the Head of Audience Development to develop a coordinated plan to drive sustained organic growth.
- Lead the SEO team in setting and delivering a relevant and effective roadmap of work.
- Proactively improve all the MVF sites from a technical SEO perspective, with demonstrable improvement to site performance, organic traffic or revenue generation.
- Set clear objectives and outcomes for the team that result in improvements to traffic and/or revenue generation.
- Work with the Campaigns team to help them execute a strategy to generate backlinks from relevant high domain authority sites.
- Communicate the roadmap, current priorities and results to other functional heads and the wider business in a clear and timely manner.
- Take a leading role in working with the Product and Engineering team on planning and implementing improvements to the sites while managing and mitigating risks
- Establishing and executing technical SEO due diligence process for all M&A activity.
- Stay abreast of technical SEO best practices, share them with the Brands department and implement relevant developments on MVF's websites.
- React quickly to Google algorithm changes, ensuring our sites respond to changes with improvements made swiftly to position our sites for further growth
- Project manage technical elements of all MVF website rebrands, upgrades and migrations
- Be accountable for liaising with Editors and running SEO tests on our sites, with the objective of increasing relevant traffic.

- Demonstrable improvements to search rankings for key terms
- Successful technical integration of all websites acquired through M&A
- Proactive strategy to stay ahead of industry changes and algorithm changes
- The delivery of a technical SEO roadmap with clear results
- An integral part of the Audience team that operates in a coordinated fashion with other functions at MVF
