**About you and the job**:
Are you an experienced SEO strategist who is looking to make an impact? Immerse Education, a rapidly growing provider of online and in-person courses, is seeking a Head of SEO to help us revolutionise the way students learn worldwide.

Our mission is to empower students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. As our Head of SEO, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our transformative educational experiences reach students worldwide.

You will oversee all aspects of SEO, from keyword research to website performance analysis. With autonomy to develop and implement SEO campaigns across multiple channels and platforms, you'll work collaboratively with website developers and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver results that impact our mission.

As our Head of SEO, you'll be responsible for all aspects of SEO, including content optimisation and managing our third-party SEO agency. Your aim will be to bring all aspects of SEO in-house within a few weeks of starting.

Key performance indicators for this role include domain authority, search engine rankings, and website performance. You'll be expected to take ownership of the SEO strategy, driving it forward and delivering results.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in a senior SEO role, with a proven track record of driving significant organic traffic and lead generation growth.
- Experience working for both B2C and B2B industries
- Expert-level knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page optimisation, off-page optimisation, technical SEO, and keyword research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality content for a range of channels and formats.
- Strong technical skills, including awareness of HTML, CSS, and web development best practices.
- Extensive experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, or Ahrefs.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Experience working with sales and marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce, Marketo, or HubSpot.
- Experience with international SEO, including optimising websites for different regions and languages, is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience in managing and leading a team of SEO specialists.

**Ideally also has**:

- Experience in content creation and copywriting
- Experience in working with content freelancers and designers

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that increases organic traffic, improves search engine rankings, and drives lead generation.
- Lead on off-page optimisation, including building high-quality backlinks from relevant, authoritative websites.
- Optimise Immerse Education's website content, landing pages, and paid search copy to improve search engine visibility and user engagement.
- Conduct regular keyword research to inform content strategy and identify opportunities for new content.
- Manage a content marketing calendar of student articles, blog posts, and other assets, ensuring that all content is optimised for SEO and aligns with Immerse Education's broader marketing strategy.
- Work with freelance content writers to produce high-quality, SEO-optimised content that resonates with Immerse Education's target audience.
- Analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMRush, or Ahrefs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven optimisations.
- Monitor the performance of competitors' ranking content and identify opportunities to improve Immerse Education's search engine rankings.
- Review technical issues that may be impacting search engine visibility, and recommend fixes or work with the development team to implement technical optimisations.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, techniques, and best practices, attending conferences and training sessions as necessary.
- Potentially lead and manage a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, training, and support as required.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure SEO is integrated into broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Report on SEO activity and KPIs on a monthly basis,
