Organic Search is a major element of our Multi-Channel Clients marketing activity, both here in the UK and internationally, and they’re looking for an expertCould you be the company’s leader of their SEO channels where you’ll have a large team at yourdisposal and an external agency?

As a FTSE 100 business, our Client is a Multi-Channel Retailer who aren’t thinking of stopping their growth any time soon, they are already known as one of the UK’s leading and most loved brands and we are excited to have partnered with them to continueto their market dominance for many years to come.

With a high YOY growth, including record breaking revenue in 2020 and 2021, they are now making huge strides to continue this trend as they look to add more super digital marketing talent to their already strong 20+ Performance Marketing Teams. This rolewill be to focus on the growth of their SEO channels and organic activity across their eCommerce websites.

They are looking for a leader who is currently in a specialist SEO role or you have previously come from an SEO background where you may have broadened your role but SEO is still at the forefront of what you do. This role will see you lead an SEO Team andan SEO Agency whilst also playing a key role internal with key stakeholders across the Digital and eCommerce Teams to ensure a joined up approach and we maximise opportunities with Customers.

**As the Head of SEO you will be responsible for**:

- Owning and delivering the SEO strategy for our eCommerce sits and leading and managing a team of SEO Specialists and 3rd party partners to drive performance vs our targets
- Monitor and report on organic search performance and offer insights into opportunities and analyse competitor awareness
- Cross-selling the importance of the SEO channels with key stakeholders and the wider teams in the business to maximise opportunities and online sales
- Understanding industry developments and how this can be interpreted to maximise our SEO strategy
- Ensuring that wider teams also contribute to the SEO channels
- Identifying ways to innovate to improve performance or manage resources more effectively

**As the Head of SEO you will ideally come with the following experience**:

- A true SEO expert, with experience in a senior SEO role with significant experience managing highly trafficked business to consumer sites or you will have now broadened into a digital role but SEO is still at the heart of what you do
- You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Be a role model for your team and lead them through their development both in your team and be able to motivate staff from other departments
- Have an advanced understanding of technical SEO, on-site and off-site
- Be able to run complete technical and content audits
- Experience of managing platform migrations from a SEO point of view
