**Experienced Children's Care Assistant needed in Huddersfield for a minimum of one hour calls - pay starts at £13.00 per hour, interviews ASAP, immediate start, driver with access to own vehicle needed. The majority of the work will be mornings, evenings and weekends.**

**Job Title**: Children's Care Assistant

**Pay Rate**: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour

**Job Type**: Part time

**Shifts**:7-9am & 4-8pm Monday to Friday and block hours on weekends, additional hours available if also happy to support adults

**About the role**:
As a **Children's Care Assistant**, you will be mainly supporting children with complex needs with medication, personal care, meal prep, companionship and social support.

**About you**:
As a **Children's Care Assistant**, you will be able to show a high level of initiative and empathy when caring for children. You will also need to be able to communicate at all levels effectively and be able to recognise changes in your clients needs.

To succeed in the role of a **Children's Care Assistant** you will have:

- Driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
- Experience in any of the following areas is welcomed - PEG feeding, administering medication, epilepsy care, autism, non-verbal communication, and personal care
- Comfortable supporting children in their own homes and speaking to families
- Reliable and professional manner
