Job description

Our Home care assistants earn **£10.80p/h** Monday to Friday, **£11.55 p/h** at weekends and **£15 p/h** on bank holidays. **We pay an enhanced rate **for unsociable hours. We ensure working hours are **matched to your availability.**

We have an exciting opportunity available for a children's support worker, supporting children in their own home and out in the community with flexible shifts mainly evenings and weekends doing block hours of care.

The responsibilities of this role are:

- To provide outstanding care and support to our client, both in their own home and in a community setting.
- Provide personal care, possible assistance with Peg feed/Tracheostomy care/suctioning/ and all other aspects of daily support. Full training for additional complex support provided.
- Provide social stimulation and interaction, sometimes dealing with challenging or aggressive & complex behaviours.
- Deliver specialist care based on training received such as medication administration.
- Safeguarding young people.

**Requirements**:

- Committed, caring and compassionate with a clear desire to support others
- Enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Previous experience of providing care for a child with complex needs essential
