**Treasury Assistant**

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our client are looking for a Treasury Assistant to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit someone with experience within a varied accounts function, including cashbook, purchase and general ledger. They must be able to demonstrate flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the business whilst also having the ability tochallenge and train site stakeholders.

This company are a rapidly growing business and are looking to double in size in the next 12months. This is a great time to join the business during this period of growth and consistently investing in the business and their staff.

The successful individual will have excellent communication skills and attention detail. They will be familiar with accounts packages, including posting journals. Good Excel skills including Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc. is essential for this role.

Job responsibilities:

- Perform the bank reconciliation, posting of receipts and card transaction reconciliations, allocate payments and investigate any queries.
- Processing card Refunds
- Weekly expense claims reviewed and authorised for payment on the BACs run
- Uploading and reviewing monthly credit cards
- Weekly reviewing and journaling Petty Cash returns
- Processing of daily banking
- Processing and reconciliation of deferred Income and Shop commissions pay-outs.
- Assisting in monthly Balance sheet reconciliation for period end for the above tasks.
- Reconciling and auditing the refunds processed, investigating any discrepancies.
- Support the achievement of all financial deadlines and targets.
- Various ad hoc projects
