**Treasury Assistant**

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our client seeks an ambitious individual to join them as Treasury Assistant on a permanent basis.

This job would suit someone with all round accounts experience to support the Treasury Manager by performing daily cash management/Treasury tasks and associated period end accounting. The role will also include cover for key accounts receivable tasks.

Our client is an international business with a sizeable UK head office that has thrived during the last 12 months through its commanding position in its industry. They have a large finance team of over 30 people and revenue's of over 1 billion per year.

The successful individual will have some experience with credit control, treasury and accounts receivable. They will be a confident computer user and can be able to show adaptability to various systems, including good Excel skills (pivot tables and v lookups).JDE experience desirable but not essential.

Job responsibilities:

- Weekly Cash-Flow Forecasting
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Posting receipts to the system
- Review and enter payments on banking portals
- Monitor payments against weekly cash flow forecast
- Foreign payments
- Reconciling petty cash
- Collect direct debits on a weekly and twice monthly basis
- Allocate receipts to sales ledger accounts
- Cross training in key Sales ledger tasks to ensure team cover
- Ensure all transactions are posted to ledgers
- Assist with processing period end journals
- Provide monthly reconciliations
