Join our Home Division as an Assistant Merchandiser, supporting our Buying teams across Bed & Bath and Christmas World to deliver exceptional results through smart planning, trading, and commercial insight.

**About the Role**

As an Assistant Merchandiser, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Merchandiser to plan, trade, and analyse performance across two exciting categories - Bed & Bath and Christmas World. You’ll use your analytical skills and commercial awareness to help optimise sales, manage stock effectively, and ensure every decision drives business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Merchandiser in planning and trading performance across the Bed & Bath and Christmas World departments, delivering on key divisional KPIs.
- Analyse sales data to identify trading patterns, opportunities, and risks, proposing actions to improve profit and performance.
- Manage and update range and option plans, ensuring accurate stock flow and alignment with open-to-buy (OTB) budgets.
- Conduct mid-season and end-of-season reviews to provide actionable insights that shape future planning decisions.
- Collaborate with Buying, Retail, and Merchandise Assistant teams to ensure clear communication, smooth processes, and efficient trading across all categories.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working - this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

**About You**

You are an analytical and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You’re confident working with data to drive decisions and have a keen eye for commercial opportunities. You enjoy collaborating across teams, managing multiple priorities, and taking ownership of your work. Your curiosity and proactive approach mean you’re always looking for ways to improve performance and processes.

You will have:

- Experience in merchandising [at an Assistant Merchandiser level] or retail planning, ideally within a multi-category or seasonal environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence using Excel and data reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
