Catering & Bar Supervisor

To work closely with the Catering & Bar Manager initially in Leeds Conservatoire to manage the student café service to a high standard. It is located in the centre of the building and is always alive with chatter. The student cafe is the first port of call for the students as it sells great value** **food.

Based in the heart of Leeds cultural quarter, with excellent transport links close by.

Generally the hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm but there maybe occasional evenings and weekend work.
- To assist the Catering and Bar Manager with the efficient and effective operation of the Group's catering service
- Following food safety requirements at all times and this information is recorded accurately
- Ensuring the customer is given a prompt and efficient service
- Assisting in the training and supervision of catering staff and student casuals.
- Preparing light dishes such as wraps, paninis and salads etc.
- Ensuring administrative tasks and any record keeping is done in the correct manner
- Must have English and Mathematics at level 2 or equivalent
- A Food Hygiene certificate
- Relevant up to date knowledge of catering and hospitality
- Experience of working in a fast-paced bar/catering environment in a Supervisory role
- Ability to follow food hygiene systems and monitor due diligence record
