Toast Bar is looking for a supervisor/duty manager to join our team This job is perfect for someone that enjoys engaging with people and wishes to progress in a customer oriented and fast paced workplace. With the role, you will be contributing to the vibrant atmosphere that makes our establishment stand out. We would like someone with the ability to handle high pressure situations and maintain composure during busy periods whilst maintaining a positive work environment for the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leadership and Team Management: Lead by example and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding customer service. Assisting in training and keeping good relationships with the team.
- Customer Experience: Strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for all, ensuring they receive prompt and friendly service. Address customer feedback and concerns
- Bar Operations: Oversee the smooth functioning of the bar. You will be a key holder which will include opening and closing of the bar, ensuring the bar is ready and preparation has been done for the day ahead as well as cashing up on a night.
- Quality Control: Ensure that everything is served with consistency and adherence to quality standards, following appropriate techniques. All checklists will be completed on a daily basis and the bar is clean and ready to standard.
- Upselling and Promotion: Work closely with the management to implement promotional activities and strategies that will enhance sales and customer engagement. Encourage staff to upsell and suggest appropriate drinks to enhance the customer experience.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle any customer or staff disputes with diplomacy and professionalism, seeking resolutions that maintain a positive atmosphere within the bar.

The bar supervisor will be required to be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays if required.

25-30 hours a week at £10.50 an hour. This role would be an immediate start and you must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays if required.

Experience within the industry is required.
