Position: Marketing and Engagement Executive

What's the background?

We are recruiting for a Marketing and Engagement Executive for a charitable organisation that supports young people within the local community. The role is varied but ideally they are looking for someone who can tell their story through various social media channels and engage with younger people by creating great content. The organisation is currently at the beginning of a growth journey so this is a great opportunity for someone who is ambitious that would like to progress.

**Responsibilities**:
The Marketing and Engagement Manager will be responsible for taking the lead in developing new and engaging content types for different digital channels: photos, videos, infographics, copy; in liaison with the staff team, young people and external stakeholders.

You will be able to use analytics to monitor and improve the effectiveness and reach of their online presence, and identify successes and areas for improvement and to be bale to communicate this data to internal and external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with various other agencies such as local media outlets, designers and printers to ensure that communications published are in keeping with the organisations branding.

Experience needed

It is essential that you have the ability to handle a varied workload, react quickly, meet deadlines and prioritise tasks as this is a fast paced role that involves dealing with multiple stakeholders. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to create varied content across multiple channels. This is a role that would suit a creative person that is able to collaborate and engage with young people. Video editing and production skills and photography skills are desirable and ssome knowledge of graphic design packages would be an advantage.

The job is full-time and will be located on-site with the option of some home working.

The hours of work are those necessary to fulfil the requirements of the position. This will involve working unsocial hours in the evenings and at weekends or at events, and also working during the day. This position requires an enhanced DBS check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
