**Personal Assistant - 9 month FTC**
**London**

As a Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to Senior Directors in Cyber Security as well as assisting members of their team on key projects and initiatives. You will be required to confidently interact with a diverse spectrum of people in a wide variety of situations, as required. You will also plan, pre-empt and facilitate the smooth running of the Directors and their teams.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Learning and understanding the business area to be able to provide a view on prioritization
- Scheduling appointments and ensuring each director is always in the correct place on time with all relevant papers
- Booking all travel arrangements, accommodation and organizing itineraries; this includes balancing priorities and commitments of the manager and Barclays business
- Organising a wide range of meetings and fucntions at internal/external venues, which may involve influential contacts in the UK and overseas
- Liasing with internat/external contacts, visiting and vetting locations, agreeing dates, menus, prices etc
- Managing weekly team meetings including taking minutes and maintaining all logistics
- Compiling agendas, preparing briefs, attending a wide variety of meetings, taking and transcribing minutes and undertaking any necessary follow up actions
- Supporting the creation of documents for key meetings and any follow up actions

**What we’re looking for**:

- Strong PowerPoint skills and advanced Microsoft Word and Excel work
- Experience of working with senior directo level individuals

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience working for a Managing Director

**Where will you be working?**
In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
