A Global Loss Adjusting Organisation are now seeking a Claims Handler to join their Specialist Subsidence team based in the East Midlands, where you play a vital role within the company by supporting clients in proactively handling and settling subsidenceclaims dealing with domestic and commercial properties. Career development is very much supported as well as support with industry exams.

As the role is specialist claims you will be provided with guidance and support to master the technical aspect. You will initially work from the office full-time during training, the role will then progress to a hybrid role by working part home/part office.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage you own caseload of domestic and commercial property subsidence claims from cradle to grave
- Interpreting technical data, investigating, repair schedules and writing reports
- Liaise with the client/policyholder throughout the claims process updating with the progression
- Providing a first class customer service ensuring the customer journey is seamless and a pleasant one
- Ensure you get to the root cause of issues, take responsibility to resolve any problems to ensure settlement is as swift as possible

About you:

- Have Subsidence claims handling experience or experience handling Property/Buildings claims from cradle to grave
- Good negotiation skills - arranging appointments and explaining complex information
- Strong relationship building skills providing support as and when required
- Good listening skills by being able to understand the customer
- Proficient IT skills
- Ideally hold an Insurance related Industry qualification or working towards - support and funding is available
