**Liability Claims Handler - Subsidence, Tree Root Specialist - UK - Remote working - Very competitive annual basic salary plus an excellent benefits package - 35 hours per week Monday to Friday**

A renowned National Loss Adjusting Organisation are now seeking an experienced Tree Root Subsidence Specialist to join their Specialist Legal Division where you will work closely the local authority handling Subsidence claims deriving from tree roots. Youwill handle your own specialist Third Party Property Damage losses.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Handle third party specialist tree root subsidence recovery claims
- Investigate allocated claims
- Collate evidence that had has been gathered on site and liaise with all relevant parties to determine liability
- Review on site investigation reports i.e. arborist reports, drainage surveys and engineers reports to confirm the cause of property damage
- Send correspondence on matters where a viable recovery can made in line with the evidence collated
- Research previous legal cases with a thorough knowledge on case law to proceed confidently and with a high probability of recovery
- Ensure targets are met

**About you**:

- Experience working within a Legal background handling Subsidence claims/Tree Roots
- Subsidence/Tree Root knowledge handling third party claims
- Claims Management experience through to conclusion/recovery
- Experience of gathering relevant evidence and assessing liability
- Be able to work on won initiative and handle own workload
- Industry qualifications or working towards
