**Job Title: Steward**

**Contract**:Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Worked over 5 days Monday - Sunday Mixture of Day and Late shifts

**Salary**: hourly rate between £9.50 - £11.00 depending on experience

**Job Location**:22 The Mall, Bristol BS8 4DS

**Reports to**:Head Steward

The Clifton Club is a traditional private members club in the heart of Clifton Village, Bristol, founded in 1818. We pride ourselves on providing exclusive experiences for every member, building social communities, our extensive and varied social calendar, exquisite dining facilities, business facilities and relationships.

**About the role**:
**We are looking for additional Stewards to strengthen our front of house team the role will include**:

- To have a high standard of product knowledge (food and drink)
- To be friendly and polite towards Members, Customers and Staff
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the Senior Stewards
- Maintain appropriate stock levels in bars
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety
- Adhere to all company policies, and procedures
- To assist the Head Steward & Events Manager with co-ordination of functions
- To have a good knowledge of club events

**About you**:
**We are looking for someone who ideally has,**
- High level of attention to detail
- Very good organizational skills
- Great leadership skills
- Able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
- You’ll be articulate in how you talk and write
- Experience in similar role for a year (experience as a full time steward, bar work, or silver service.

**Salary**: £9.50-£11.00 per hour

- Weekend availability

- Bristol, BS8 4DS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
