**Driver - Patient Transport | Nottinghamshire | Full Time/Part Time| £9.70 per hour**

Our client are a busy Private Ambulance Company, working with Hospitals mainly in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire but also Hospitals nationwide.

They are passionate about what they do and pride themselves on being an honest and friendly company, whilst being able to consistently deliver reliable and professional patient transport services.

90% of our shifts are 12hrs shifts and that's on site at the hospital, however you do get paid your travel time there and back. Everything starts and finishes at our base in Walesby Notts.

Please note
- The employer will offer full training for the role, including their initial induction process followed by an Emergency First aid at Work course, High Dependancy course and a full range of online courses including safe guarding adults and children.

In addition to this they do also offer training for secure work (Managing Violence and Aggression) and also blue light advanced training.

**Role Requirements**
- Full Driving License.
- 25 years or older (due to insurance purposes driving the vehicles).
- Good work ethic.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Hard working and able to show empathy and compassion.

**Role Responsibilities**
- To move patients from hospital to a place of safety, that could be home, a care home or another ward or unit.
- Deliver reliable and professional patient transport services.
- Safety is of paramount importance and the post holder must ensure that safe systems of work are followed without compromise.
- The post holder needs to be committed to maintaining high standards of customer care and service delivery that will include the responsibility of adequate safeguarding.
