**Job description**

Reception administrator is an important role dealing with customer enquiries and processing incoming print orders to ensure print order files are correct before being sent to print. Due to the technical requirement of one off custom printed products there is a need for checking every customer file and liaising with the customer if problems occur.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Providing customer support on print orders and our web based print order system.
- Answering questions about products or services offered at the business
- Taking and directing calls
- Representing the business with a positive attitude
- Interacting with other departments such as printing, print finishing, sales & marketing.
- Preparing and collating online print orders, checking print files, printing job sheets, placing job folders in print queues, and liaising with print production staff.
- Updating order management system (Order Desk).
- Preparing completed orders for post, weighing items on Pitney Bowes machine, printing shipping labels.
- Editing customer print files in Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat.

Between one and two administrators work in reception dependent on the workload. Good teamwork, flexibility, communication and initiative are required to ensure that all print orders meet their deadlines. Occasionally print orders have problems or run late requiring liaison with the print section, production manager and the customer.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent organisational skills to ensure that the order management system runs smoothly
- IT literacy and a working knowledge of Mail, Photoshop, Acrobat and Microsoft Office
- The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to cope with the multifaceted nature of the job
- The ability to use your own initiative but also work as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills, as you deal directly with customers and their enquiries
- Good writing skills and a sound command of the English language

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
