Head of Lived Experience and Involvement

We are excited to advertise for a Head of Lived Experience and Involvement. This is a newly created role and will be an integral part of the planning and qualityfunctionsof Humber North Yorkshire Specialised Mental Health, Learning Disability & Autism Provider Collaborative in its next phase of development. The post holder will focus on system-wide and strategic development of meaningful involvement helping us place the voice of the service user, carers, staff and wider stakeholders in all that we do.

Head of Lived Experience and Involvement

To lead the development and implementation of Lived Experience and
Involvement strategy for Humber North Yorkshire Specialised Mental Health, Learning Disability & Autism Provider Collaborative.

Provide leadership and specialist advice regarding Lived Experience and
Involvement in the commissioning of in-scope specialised MHLDA services across HNY.

Provide leadership in ensuring meaningful Lived experience and Involvement expertise is embedded in, and influences, structures and activity across the Provider Collaborative via its commissioning function, specifically in relation to quality assurance and improvement and future strategic priorities working in close partnership with providers and independent Yorkshire & Humberside Involvement Network.

To provide expertise and guidance to the collaborative on strategic approaches to involvement for commissioning and provision of high-quality specialist services, informed by the voice of key cohorts and stakeholders

To work to theProvider Collaborative Oversight Group (equivalent to Provider Collaborative Shadow Board) and the Quality Assurance and Improvement Group in relation to the strategic direction, priorities, and challenges across the collaborative for involvement and lived experience

To identify system risks and obstacles to meaningful Involvement and influence of Lived Experience and make recommendations to the collaborative about ways forward

To work closely with very senior clinicians, Directors, and managers to develop and oversee a system wide approach via co-production and involvement to o Quality assurance and improvement, including patient safety; o Tacking health inequalities; Embedding involvement; and Trauma informed practice
