**Job Specification**
Finance Assistant
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, enthusiastic team of professionals working for a well-established national provider of property marketing and surveying services.
**Main responsibilities**
The tasks and responsibilities of the Finance assistant will include:
- Accurately processing invoices and costings to the correct nominal codes.
Setting up new client accounts on Fastrack (internal database) and Sage Accounts.
- Setting up supplier payments and client refunds
- Investigating and resolving internal and external account queries.
- Posting and reconciling bank reconciliations and sagepay receipts/payments
- Providing general administrative support to the accounts department including filing and opening post.
- Provide accounts and administrative support to the production team when required.
- Perform other office duties from time-to-time as required.
**Specific skills & attributes needed**
- Ability to work on own initiative and without direct supervision
- General business skills (use of CRM system, MS office and diary management)
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience desirable, but not essential
- No degree in accounting or finance needed
**Other**
Report to Paul Skinner (Head of Finance) in all of the above.
**Location**: Flexible working from our offices in Camberley and from home
**Hours**: 40 hours a week (8.30am - 5.30pm) Monday to Friday
**Contract**: Permanent
**Holidays**: 20 days (plus bank holidays)
