The post is suited to doctors at ST 1-2 Level who seek further experience and training in Neonatology.

We seek to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Clinical Fellows/Trust Doctors in Neonatology to work within the Neonatology Directorate, part of the Women and Children’s Division of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust at The Royal Oldham Hospital on the Level 3 unit.

**Main duties of the job**:
You will work exclusively within the Neonatal Unit on a full shift Tier 1 rota (first on-call) (1 in 9) with other medical trainees and ANNPs. The Unit is one of Greater Manchester’s 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) and has 9 Intensive Care cots, 9 High Dependency cots and 19 Special Care cots and offers the full spectrum of medical neonatal care. The state of the art unit is housed in the new purpose built Women and Children’s Building. The unit is led by a dedicated team of experienced consultant neonatologists.

You will be expected to continue your professional development and ample training opportunities are available within the department. The Trust has links with University of Manchester for undergraduate training of medical students and is a major contributor to a number of research studies in the region.
